2026 Australian Youth Championships (AYVC) Athlete EOI

Volleyball South Australia has opened expressions of interest for U14 to U18 athletes to represent South Australia at the 2026 Australian Youth Volleyball Championships in Perth WA.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of team South Australia at the premier Youth Indoor Volleyball event in Australia. You’ll be working with some of the best talent and coaches we have in the State in Perth to bring home the President’s Cup.
Total travel time 19th to the 26th September 2026.

Youth Championships (AYVC) have U14 to U18 divisions for both male and female.

**Please note - we will only be taking Championship teams to AYVC**

EOI's will close Thursday 26th March for all Divisions.

Age Groups for the Volleyball Championships are as follows:

U14 (2013 born athletes)
Player must not turn 14 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U15 (2012 born athletes)
Player must not turn 15 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U16 (2011 born athletes)
Player must not turn 16 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U17 (2010 born athletes)
Player must not turn 17 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U18 (2009 born athletes)
Player must not turn 18 years old, or older, during the year of the event

Trial Dates & Times:

All trials to be held at Brighton Secondary School.

Phase One - Sunday 29th March 2026

U18 Female - 7:00am - 8:30am
U18 Male - 8:30am - 10:00am

U17 Female / Male - 10:00am - 12:00pm
U16 Female / Male - 12:00pm - 2:00pm
U15 Female / Male - 2:00pm - 4:00pm
U14 Female / Male - 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Phase Two - Sunday 12th April 2026

U18 Female / Male - 7:00am - 8:45am
U17 Female / Male - 11:00am - 12:30pm
U16 Female / Male - 12:30pm - 2:30pm
U15 Female / Male - 2:30pm - 4:30pm
U14 Female / Male - 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Phase Three - Sunday 19th April 2026

U18 Female / Male - 7:00am - 8:15am
U17 Female / Male - 8:15am - 10:00am
U16 Female / Male - 10:00am - 11:30am
U15 Female / Male - 11:30am - 1:00pm
U14 Female / Male - 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Please note that this is an overall time frame and final exact timing wil be confirmed once all EOI's have been received.

Athletes should be available to attend all 3 trials. Please note it on this JotForm, or by emailing kylie.l@volleyballsa.com.au if you can only attend one.

Please note there may be phase one selection cuts post the first trial date for the phase two trial, this will be notified by email to all athletes.

We reserve the right to hold a phase three selection if required.

Approximate tour cost are $4000.00 incl GST and will be confirmed on the Letter of Offer to athletes.

Volleyball SA will be selecting the best athletes to represent South Australia. Team selection will be at the discretion of Volleyball SA.

AYVC Trainings will be on a Sunday at BSS. Times TBC
