EAGLE DANCE is a one- day ceremony where participants dance to the Tree of Life. The ceremony holds the intent and prayers of the participant in dancing their personal dreams awake- to manifest hearts desires into reality.

We dance for health, happiness, hope, harmony and humor for self, life and others.

The tree of life provides a focus for who we are.  Its strong roots and body, its branches and leaves reaching up to the light- just as we too develop our relationship to the light, to all that is sacred.

Eagle Dance is an annual ceremonial event, and you have the opportunity to be part of this magical gathering.

Ceremony leads you into another dimension, another state of consciousness. Ceremony is always an Act of Power that brings a gain in energy to all within your life.

We will dance from sunrise to sunset to the Tree of Life with the support of the Sweet Medicine Drum team. Within the Lineage of the Sweet Medicine Sundance Path, the drum is considered the heartbeat of Grandmother Earth.

Location

Set in a beautiful location on private land at Crystal Creek NSW. There is 2WD access and a bitumen driveway to access the property off Chilcotts Road. Approximately 1 hour travel time from Mullumbimby, 2 hours from Brisbane and 1 to 1.5 hours from the Gold Coast.  Address will be provided in an information pack sent to you upon registration.  

Times and Details

Friday 5th June: Gate opens at 12 pm for camp set up. You must arrive by 7pm at the latest. 

Saturday 6th June: in the morning we will be setting up the arbour, with afternoon ceremonial preparations.  

Sunday 7th June: Dance from sunrise to sunset with a feast provided after the ceremony. 

Monday 8th June: By midday leave the site better than we found it in beauty. 

Accommodation: Self Sufficient Camping. On- site toilets available. 

BYO Food and Drinking Water.

Phone Reception is reliable for Telstra and Optus, other mobile services are less so.  Address with more details will be supplied on registration. It is recommended to look over the directions so you are clear on how to get to the property before embarking on your journey.

Preparation of ceremonial materials are needed for Eagle Dance. You need these to be able to attend Eagle Dance. 

 

We recommend early registration so you have all the information you need.

Ceremonial Information 

We dance with a specific Ceremonial Dress and accoutrements for the Eagle Dance. These particulars will be sent to you in your registration package.

Eagle dance is from Sunrise to Sunset on Sunday 7th June.

If you are unable to fast for medical reasons, please contact us, so we can arrange for an alternative way.

Come prepared to fast from dawn on Sunday, until the end of the ceremony at dusk Sunday evening.

A feast is provided and shared at the completion of Eagle Dance on Sunday Night.

A comprehensive list of instructions on what to bring will be forwarded to you on registration.

Shared Cost: $170. Your payment covers the feast provided for us on Sunday evening and event costs. There is no charge for ceremony. 

Please note the camping fee of $20 per night is not included in the EAGLE DANCE cost. Cash preferred. 

There are no charges for current Red Lodge students, this is part of the curriculum.
