Instructions

The 44th Annual Convocation of Mangalore University will be held on 28th March 2026 at 11.00 a.m. at Mangala Auditorium, Mangalagangotri.

● Please register here only if you are attending the convocation in person.
● The link is open from 19.03.2026 at 05.00 p.m. to 23rd March 2026 at 05.00 p.m.
● Certificates will be issued on the stage only to PhD degree applicants, first rank holders, cash prize winners, and gold medal winners. All remaining registered in-person candidates will be awarded the degree certificate next to the stage after the convocation ceremony.
● The degree certificates of all other eligible students who have not registered, whose fee payment details are submitted by the department/college, will be sent to the concerned department/college by the end of April 2026.
● If you have registered but are unable to attend the convocation ceremony, you should inform the Registrar (Evaluation) Office through e-mail (regevalmu@gmail.com) and by WhatsApp message to 9686182135 / 9449023061 on 27th March 2026 by 5.00 p.m.
● In-person candidates should be at the venue at least two hours before the commencement of the convocation ceremony (i.e., by 9.00 a.m. for the 11.00 a.m. ceremony).
● Candidates must attend the convocation ceremony strictly wearing pure white dress as prescribed by the statutes, failing which they will not be allowed to go to the stage to receive the certificates. (Half white, mixed, or cream colours are not allowed.)
● Candidates should maintain the dignity of the convocation throughout the ceremony.
● Depending on the time schedule of His Excellency, the Chancellor of Mangalore University (Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka), the convocation ceremony may be conducted in two phases. You are requested to cooperate with the University in this regard.
● You will not be allowed to attend the convocation ceremony without an entry pass, which will be generated and emailed to you after completion of this registration process and successful verification.
● Candidates receiving cash prizes should upload a clear copy of the front page of the bank passbook showing the account number and IFSC code.

Once you register with the correct details, your information will be verified. After successful verification, an e-pass will be sent to your email ID (from mumangalagangothri@gmail.com) on 27th March by 6:00 PM. You must present the e-pass along with a valid ID proof to attend the convocation.
