Under the Solcitors Admission and Training Regulations 1988 (as amended) all individuals wishing to register with the Society as a trainee solicitor must produce proof of having met the core subjects. Please use the below table to confirm if you have met each core subject.
Students who commenced their degree course prior to September 1996 should have Company Law as a core subject. Company Law has now been replaced by EU/European Law.
If you are due to complete the Evidence and Criminal Procedure standalone module via the IPLS, please note Law of Evidence core subject as "Pending".
Please Note: to ensure your compliance with the regulations, as noted, your documentation will be vetted to confirm the core subjects have been met. It is therefore important that you ensure your responses are correct and verifiable.
