Student Association President Award

The Student Association Presidents Award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional involvement in the school community, advocate for students, exhibit a strong work ethic, and display qualities indicative of future leadership potential.

The Student Association President will award up to two $500 awards, and nomination packages are due by 12:00am Sunday, April 5th. Incomplete packages will not be considered.

 

Step 1

Complete the nomination package, which includes:

• Description of accomplishments, advocacy roles (detailed relevance to be the chosen applicant for the award. Maximum 500 words)
• Complete the eligibility waiver form
• Contact information form
• Any additional information

 

Step 2

Submit completed packages by 12:00am Sunday, April 5th 2026. Incomplete packages will not be considered.

 

Step 3

The Student Association President Committee will review the packages. 

 

Step 4

Once the application is received, the SA President Committee will review the packages. Successful applicants will be notified by email on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026.

 

Step 5

The Student Association Presidents' Award will be presented to the selected student(s) at the Student Association End of Year Gala on April 9th, 2026. Specific details will be provided to selected students closer to the date.

 

Description of Nominee 

Please use the space provided to summarize your reasons for nominating this student for the Student Association President Award. Specific examples of the students’ engagement, accomplishments and leadership are recommended. You may attach a document if more space is required or if you feel other collateral documents should be reviewed in the application. (Max 500 words)

 

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the SA President Award, nominees must:

• Be a registered full-time student at St. Lawrence College Kingston Campus
• Comply with the academic policy and Student Code of Conduct policy as set forth by the St. Lawrence College
• Have achieved good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA)
• Demonstrate meaningful engagement in campus or community activities
