(Royalty floats and bands are exempt.)

                   Line-Up Time:  4:00 p.m.                      

Start Time:  6:00 p.m. SHARP

PARADE JUDGING WILL TAKE PLACE DURING THE PARADE!

All entries will be judged on Workmanship, Design, General Effect, Theme, Costume & Casting.

Entries will be judged in the following categories:

Royalty Floats

Clubs & Organizations 

Church & Youth Groups 

Business

TYPE OF UNIT

There is a very limited budget for paid units. The parade committee will consider your request and contact you upon receipt of entry form

Coon Rapids Cable Television (CTN) is filming the parade for replay on Channel 15 throughout the month.  Please describe your unit so proper recognition can be given.  Include celebrations themes and dates, awards won, participants in your unit, etc.  You may attach a separate sheet with info if more space is needed.  If information is not provided below, only your unit name listed above will be announced by CTN. 

I, the undersigned, as an authorized representative and on behalf of the organization named below, have voluntarily agreed to participate in the City of Coon Rapids 4^th of July celebration parade on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026.

I, the organization and the organization’s parade participants hereby release and discharge the City of Coon Rapids, Coon Rapids Firefighters,  and the Coon Rapids North Star Lions Club, their agents, employees and officers, from all claims, demands, actions, judgements and executions that may arise from participation in the 2026 City of Coon Rapids 4^th of July celebration parade.  This release includes all claims that I, the organization and the organization’s participants and their heirs, executors, or assigns may have against the City of Coon Rapids, the Coon Rapids Firedighters, or the Coon Rapids North Star Lions Club for all personal injuries and property damage caused by or arising out of participation in the 2026 City of Coon Rapids 4^th of July celebration parade.

I have read this release and understand all of its terms.  On behalf of the organization I have also communicated the terms of this waiver agreement to the organization and the organization’s parade participants.  I, the organization and the organization’s parade participants acknowledge the inherent dangers involved in riding on a float and walking or riding in parades, including but not limited to the dangers created by falling off a moving vehicle, other motor vehicle traffic, street conditions, other participants, and spectators.  The organization agrees to indemnify and defend the City of Coon Rapids and Coon Rapids North Star Lions Club from any claim or cause of action arising out of the organization’s parade participation.  On behalf of the organization I voluntarily execute this release.
