  • WELL INSPECTION DISCLAIMER

For a water well inspection to be properly and professionally performed, it is necessary for our crews to back our service rig up to the well. Depending on the well location, this could mean that we will need to drive onto a property owners’ lawn or grassy area. The equipment required for a well inspection weighs approximately 17,000lbs. If the ground is wet or has recently been wet, there is a risk of our equipment leaving ruts or grooves on the surface. While our crews do their best to avoid leaving any disruption to the grass or surface area, there are times that it is unavoidable in the process of inspecting a well, especially if the ground is wet or has been wet. It is our company policy to respectfully request that the property owners not water their lawns the day before or the day of the requested well inspection. Our policy is communicated verbally at the time that the customer or realtor requests a well inspection. Additionally, we require that all parties involved sign below stating their acknowledgement of being informed of the policy. Currie Drilling Company, Inc reserves the right to postpone or delay a well inspection if our crews believe the ground is too wet. With the information provided in this disclaimer and provided verbally at the time of work is requested, Currie Drilling Company, Inc is not responsible for any damage to the lawn or vegetation, during the process of the well inspection.
