Creative Sons Summer Camp
The Creative Sons Experience is a five-day immersive summer film production intensive designed for 12 males in grades 8-12. Hosted in partnership with a University of South Florida professor who operates a professional film production company, this camp simulates a real-world production environment from concept to premiere.

Students are strategically divided into three competitive production teams of four members. Each team includes: a Director, an Assistant Director, a Cinematographer (Camera Operator), and an Audio Engineer.

Each team is assigned one USF film student who serves as its Production Coach throughout the week.

Importantly, professional actors are hired for all productions. This allows students to focus exclusively on technical execution, storytelling, and leadership rather than performance, elevating the overall production quality and realism of the experience.
