Children's Rights 2026 Grant Application

Please note this grants program is separate from the Children’s Week Grants Program, which will open in June 2026 for community groups and organisations. Eligibility for this grant is limited to ECEC and early years services.

Grant applications for celebrations or projects will be assessed on how they:

Promotes awareness of children’s rights
Demonstrates how the activity will help children, families, or communities learn about children’s rights.

Engages children and families
Encourages meaningful participation from children, families, and the broader community.

Supports positive outcomes for children
Shows how the activity will benefit children’s wellbeing, inclusion, and participation.

Takes place between 15 June 2026 and 13 September 2026
Demonstrates that the project can be delivered effectively within the timeframe.
