ABOUT THE PROJECT
Film Vancouver Productions is coordinating a large-scale data collection initiative on behalf of our client, Velvet Media Inc. This April, we will be recording hundreds of natural, two-person conversations via video conferencing software — seven days a week throughout the month.
The recordings will be used by Velvet Media Inc. to study how real conversations between people actually work, with the goal of helping AI systems communicate more naturally and effectively.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are not looking for professional actors, public speakers, or experts of any kind. We are looking for everyday people who can hold a genuine conversation in English.
Real conversations are imperfect — and that's exactly the point. Moments of hesitation, interruption, and natural back-and-forth are what make this data valuable. Your authenticity is what we need.
Requirements:
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Available for a maximum of two 4.5 hour shifts (9 hours total with lunch) during the project.
• Any age 19–70
• Any gender
• Any background
• Comfortable having a casual conversation with a stranger
• No beards, hats, or glasses (contacts are okay) during recordings

COMPENSATION & DETAILS
• $100 for approximately 4.5 hours, or $200 for approximately 9 hours of recordings
• Flexible shifts — mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekends

YOUR PRIVACY MATTERS
Participant protection is a priority. The contract with our client explicitly prohibits the use of recordings for deepfake generation or digital recreation of any kind. All conversation data will be owned and used solely by Velvet Media Inc. for research purposes.
