Participation in the Physician LEADS West Virginia Program is subject to review by the Program Director. It is the goal of the program to create a diverse cohort of participants that foster building relationships across organizations, fields, work experiences, and geographic locations. It is very important for successful applicants to demonstrate appreciation of the added value of the program, support by their organizations, and commitment to the completion of the program. Preference will be given to candidates with early roles in leadership and have demonstrated achievements or promises in career and community service as well as commitment to the welfare of West Virginians and the healthcare environment in West Virginia.
