The ABNF Awards Committee invites you to nominate a deserving nurse educator for recognition at the 2026 Annual Meeting and Scientific Conference, June 10–13, 2026, in Cancún, Mexico.
Each year, ABNF honors nurses who embody the Mission and Goals of the Association, carry forward the legacy of distinguished past honorees, and meet the rigorous criteria established for each award category. These are individuals who have developed, designed, and implemented innovative approaches to nursing education — producing measurable outcomes in meeting the healthcare needs of Black clients, families, and communities.
Your nomination is an opportunity to ensure that exceptional contributions to nursing academia do not go unrecognized. All nominations will be reviewed through a thorough screening process by a panel of judges, and award recipients will be celebrated at the June 2026 Annual Meeting and Scientific Conference.
Nominations must be submitted using the official ABNF nomination form no later than April 1, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
