    • Do parents need to stay? We prefer parents to stay. If you must leave, we will be sure to have your contact information and will text you when we are almost done to come pick up your child.
    • Do we need to bring anything? For this workshop, you do not need to bring anything.

  • Children will be able to create naturally made bird feeders, simulating nature by creating their own nest, sightseeing bird habitats, and more thanks to our partners at Big Canoe Creek Nature Preserve!

  • Hike along Big Canoe Creek & to learn the value of macroinvertebrates as living indicators of water quality. Please plan to wear clothing you are comfortable getting dirty.

  • Come learn about the geographic features that make up waterbodies using maps, demonstrations, and fun water-related activities! 

  • Farm & Food will expand knowledge of growing produce and farming, using the opportunity to teach healthy eating habits while tossing a salad. Children will receive an exclusive tour of Lovelight Farm in Wilsonville, AL and learn all about the importance of clean water for farmers & their produce!
