Showcasing the Work of Corrections Professionals
The American Correctional Association is seeking photographs that highlight the professionalism, dedication, and daily work of corrections professionals across the field. These images will be used in ACA communications, presentations, and promotional materials to help tell the story of modern corrections.
We invite agencies and individuals to submit photos that capture corrections professionals performing their duties in a variety of settings, including institutional operations, community supervision, training environments, leadership activities, and professional development.
Examples of desired images include correctional officers conducting security operations, probation and parole officers meeting with clients in office or community settings, administrators leading meetings or reviewing reports, training scenarios, case management discussions, and other professional activities within correctional environments.
To protect privacy and maintain professional standards, submitted photos must not include any identifying images of incarcerated individuals. If incarcerated individuals are present in the scene, they must not be recognizable.
Whenever possible, submissions should also:
- Emphasize professionalism and appropriate conduct
- Reflect modern correctional practices and environments
- Highlight diversity across leadership, staff, and roles within the profession
These photos help illustrate the critical work being done by corrections professionals nationwide and support ACA’s efforts to accurately represent the profession.
