The STEM-UP Summer Leadership Experience is a 6-week day program that provides activities, experiments, projects, and field experiences for students entering 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall of 2026.
Students attend the program free of charge.
STEM-UP aims to increase awareness and interest in STEM careers. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are fueled by quantitative reasoning, data-driven analysis, and computer skills. This summer, our STEM-UP program will include a curriculum that integrates data science and appropriate applications of AI and coding techniques into science themes in biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science. Genetics, population biology, chemical reactions, motors, optics, and more will be investigated in the lab and on the computer.
The STEM-UP Summer Leadership Experience meets Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Temple University’s Main Campus, starting June 29, 2026, and ending August 6, 2026.
All applications are due by the deadline date, MAY 25, 2026. If all requested documents are not received by the deadline date, the application will not be considered.
