FUNDRAISING
Among other responsibilities, board members play a key role in raising funds for our organization. It is an expectation of board service that you will introduce people in your sphere of influence to our work and invite them know and do more – as prospective volunteers, board members, staff and as donors. Our organization commits to providing you with the information and tools necessary for you to standas a vocal and visible ambassador for our work.Further, we expect every board member to make an annual financial commitment that is meaningful to you( Our suggested minimum donation is $750.00 per year). A financial commitment is feasible. I will discuss this with my husband.*
TIME
BTE Board of Trustees meets nine times a year, currently on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM. There are no meetings in May, August and December. The term of office is three years with a second term of three years allowed. In addition board members are expected to attend BTE productions and participate in fundraising events and serve on various board committees. Do you have any concerns or potential conflicts that may impact this time commitment, if so we can discuss it.*
