  • Please consult your physician before starting any exercise program or using our facility.

    I understand that participating in activities at Hart Cam Fitness Centre Inc. involves risks, including serious injury, disability, or death. By taking part, I agree to the following:

    • I accept all risks associated with participating in fitness activities, including those caused by my actions, others’ actions, equipment, or facility conditions, whether known or unknown.
    • I will check equipment and facilities before use. If I find anything unsafe, I will report it and not participate until it is fixed.
    • I take full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur.
    • I release Hart Cam Fitness Centre Inc. and its staff, owners, and affiliates from any claims or liability for injury, death, or property damage, even if caused by negligence. I also agree to cover any claims caused by my actions.
    • I consent to emergency medical treatment and transportation if needed, and release the facility from any related liability.
    • This agreement is governed by the laws of Manitoba. If any part is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
    • I understand I should have medical approval to participate and take full responsibility for my involvement.
    • I agree to follow all current Manitoba Public Health Orders.
    • I consent to the collection and use of my personal information for membership and program administration.

  • Code of Conduct

    • Access is allowed daily from 4:00 AM to 11:00 PM. All patrons must leave before 12:00 AM (alarm will activate).
    • Non-members must sign in and out. After hours, they must be with a member and leave payment in the drop box.
    • Key fobs are for paid members only.
    • Age rules:
      No children under 12
      Ages 13–15 must be with an adult member
      Age 15 (turning 16 that year) may attend unsupervised
      Ages 16–17 may attend unsupervised
      Must be 18+ for drop-in access
    • Failure to follow rules will result in loss of privileges
    • All users (including drop-ins) must sign a liability waiver.
    • No outdoor shoes. Wear clean, closed-toe athletic shoes at all times.
    • Proper clothing is required:
      Shirts and shorts/pants must be worn
      No jeans, swimwear, or damaging materials (zippers, rivets, etc.)
      No offensive clothing
    • Maintain good hygiene (clean clothes, deodorant).
    • Wipe down equipment after use and bring a towel.
    • Return all equipment after use. Do not leave weights on bars, floors, or machines.
    • Use equipment properly. Do not drop weights. Report any issues or broken equipment to the Board.
    • Limit machine use to 30 minutes when others are waiting.
    • Keep noise at a reasonable level. Use respectful music and volume.
    • Be respectful:
      No harassment, profanity, bullying, or intimidation
    • No food, drugs or alcohol. Violations may result in immediate suspension
      Closed plastic drink containers are allowed.
    • The facility is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
    • In an emergency, call 9-1-1.
