The fee for any rehearsals needed from the officiant prior to the ceremony will be $50.00 (within 20 miles of the 77084-zip code). The couple can, of course, rehearse without the officiant at any cost.

A deposit is required to secure and guarantee the date and service of ceremony.

1) A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 must be received to save your calendar date.
2) The initial deposit is, in any case, non-refundable. The balance of the fee determined by this agreement will become non-refundable 5 weeks prior to the day the wedding is scheduled to occur. In other words, if the contract is canceled less than 5 weeks before the day the wedding is scheduled to occur, the balance of the fee will remain outstanding and must be paid as if the wedding had occurred. If any case the ceremony date is rescheduled or change of address by non-emergency or non-weather changes, an extra fee will apply of $100.00
3). The balance must be paid in full at least 2 days before the wedding.
In case the officiant cannot perform the ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, hospitalization, or other significant disruptions, the officiant's contract should include a clause addressing these situations. This clause should specify that the officiant will make every attempt to notify the couple and arrange for another ordained minister to perform the ceremony. If no substitute is available, the officiant will return all monies paid by the couple and will not be held liable for any damages, including punitive damages, due to the nonperformance of the ceremony or function. It is crucial for both parties to understand and agree to these terms in the contract to ensure a smooth transition and to protect their interests in case of such an event.
