• TRANSGENDER PEOPLE IN CREATIVE INDUSTRIES RESEARCH SURVEY (anonymous)

Hey everyone, I'm currently working on a project that aims to platform transgender women in creative fields, and I could really use your help. This survey is for research for this as its my project for my final year at uni so please note that any data is storage is in line with the UAL code of ethics and i can assure that any data will only be seen by myself and a grader of the project and is completely anonymous. I understand that surveys can often feel tedious, but I hope this one will be a bit more engaging and meaningful than others you might have done previously.Whether you are part of the community, an ally, or simply observing the current political landscape regarding transgender rights, you know how challenging it can be to witness or experience the prejudice and frequent attacks from both government and individuals against the community. As a trans woman myself i knew that i wanted to create something uplifting — most likely a documentary-style project focused on the creative industry, but open to other suggestions — as we could all do with more positive visibility. The piece will follow about a dozen transgender women, sharing their stories and exploring how their identities influence their work. My goal is to shine a positive light on talented trans creatives who are making significant contributions in their fields. The project will initially focus on trans women, with the possibility of including other gender groups in the future, as most of my personal connections in creative fields are trans women. So, as a result, I need your input on the content and what you would like to see from this. Please note, you do not need to be part of the trans community to respond—this is open to everyone. However, I am especially hoping to hear from members of the trans community! :)
