Scenic Rim Regional Council is inviting growers in the region to take part in this short survey to help strengthen the future of agriculture in our region
Agriculture is a key backbone of the Scenic Rim economy, and Council is actively working to support growers as the Queensland Government considers releasing water to enable economic development. To do this effectively, Council needs clear, local evidence about current production, water needs and future growth opportunities.
The information you provide will be used by Scenic Rim Regional Council to:
- Support grower submissions to the Queensland Government, including the SEQ Agricultural Regional Water Assessment
- Inform Council’s input into the Logan Basin Water Plan Review
- Advocate for water and infrastructure decisions that support on‑farm productivity, value‑adding and local jobs
- Align future investment with Council’s Economic Development Strategy, which identifies agriculture as a priority industry
Your responses will be confidential and reported only in summary form. Completing the survey should take around 10 minutes, and your input will directly help Council advocate for outcomes that benefit growers and the wider Scenic Rim economy.
