• ADAPT to Grow Application Form: July-Dec 2026

  • ADAPT to Grow is a scheme based on cognitive behavioural therapy, mentoring and coaching techniques and enables early career researchers to position themselves for success in their future careers.

    Eligibility

    The scheme is currently open to:

    • Academic Clinical Fellows based at UCL.     
    • All PhD students in the Faculties of Medical Sciences, Life Sciences, Brain Sciences and Population Health Sciences.
    • PhD students with a health related topic at the other UCL Schools and Institutes (i.e. Institute of Education (IoE), School of the Built Environment, Engineering and Mathematical and Physical Sciences (BEAMS) or the School of Laws, Arts and Humanities, and Social and Historical Sciences (SLASH)). 

    There are only 50 places available in this round. Participants are not allowed to undertake the course more than once. Unsuccessful applicants can reapply in future rounds.

    Please make sure you are available to undertake the coaching sessions before applying.

    Note that shortlisted applicants are required to fill out an evaluation survey in order to complete their enrolment. This survey will be sent over to shortlisted applicants on 1st June with a deadline for completion on 12th June. Further information will be sent over after the deadline.
