ART 64 is a free, outdoor, exciting event in the streets of the Village of Wauwatosa, where 64 nationwide artists will go head-to-head in a live performance [speed] painting tournament for the chance to win $20,000. Discover Wauwatosa, in partnership with NEWaukee (and the assistance of the BID), will bring the community together with art, food, drink, activities, and music. We are looking for a team to help with moving furniture, setup, artist assistance, troubleshooting on-the-day issues, and answering questions throughout the event, as well as general cleanup, including tearing down/organizing supplies on Friday and Saturday at the end of the event.

Volunteer Shifts & Responsibilities
You can select multiple shifts (but please do not select two different roles that are happening at the same time).

Volunteer Role Descriptions:
• Artist Volunteer: Help with setup of the round. Check-in artists and accompany them to their table. Ensure artists have everything they need (including water and cups) prior to painting rounds beginning. Inform artists when painting round begins and ends. Assist attendees with mobile voting needs. Direct and accompany artists to the art tent. Carry artwork/supplies to art tent after round ends (with provided gloves). Answer artist and attendee questions. Volunteer must be able to walk around the event as needed.

• Info Tent Volunteer: Assist with miscellaneous tasks in and around the information, artist and kids tents. Check in musicians and other vendors as needed. This is a fast-paced but more stationary role. Chairs will be available.

• Art Tent Volunteers: Assist with miscellaneous tasks in and around the art/bidding tent. Answer questions about how-to-bid online. Help identify artist artwork for guests. This is a fast-paced but more stationary role. Chairs will be available.

• Cleanup Volunteer: Assist with the clean up of the tent and streets. Volunteer must be able to walk around the event as needed.
