Photo Contest submission
Digital photographs, minimum acceptable size of each digital image is 1920x1080 pixels / 300 dpi.
Deadline :
All entries must be received by 1st May 2026| 10:00 AM
Eligibility : Presenting author must be member of Cornea Society of India.
Images that have earned recognition or been displayed in other juried exhibits are not eligible for entry.
Releases:
Photographs revealing patient identity must be accompanied by a typewritten, signed, and witnessed photographic release.
Number of entries:
No more than four (4) entries per person, maximum of one (1) per category will be accepted.
Image Quality:
Images which have obvious defects (poor focus, color imbalance, improper exposure, or significant artifacts) will not be accepted for judging.
Format:
- Photomontages (multiple prints affixed to each other) will not be accepted.
- Digital photographs, minimum acceptable size of each digital image is 1920x1080 pixels.
Category Details:
1. Slit Lamp (SL) : Images produced with a photo slit lamp biomicroscope
2. External (Ex) : Photographs of the outside of the eye. face or other appropriate anatomy. which do not qualify for the slit lamp biomicrography category
3. Surgical (SG) : Images produced in a surgical environment demonstrating a surgical technique or procedure
4. Diagnostic (DA) : Images from various corneal diagnostic devices - topography / specular microscope / OCT / Confocal microscope / Microbiology / Histopathology etc
5. Eye as Art (EA) : Be creative. Use your imagination.
