    27 - 29 March 2026

Thank you for registering to be part of the Course Crew for Ring of Fire and Tussock Traverse 2026! Please complete the following questions to help us assign you to a position that best matches your skills and experience.

Course Marshals are positioned across the course to help runners go the right way, monitor the course and supervise obstacles. You’ll provide clear direction, encouragement and support to participants while helping maintain a safe race environment.

This role involves walking to and from marshal points and may include extended periods on foot on trail terrain. Course Marshals act as the eyes and ears of the event, communicating with the Course Comms Manager in the Event Operations Centre (EOC) and reporting any incidents or concerns.

Full briefing Thursday 26th March, 7pm online - you will receive an invitation to join via email once shift is confirmed.

A briefing, clear instructions and radio support are provided on the day. This is an active, outdoor role suited to people who are comfortable walking on trails and being on their feet for much of the shift.

Packed snacks, lunch and hydration provided.
