  • Acknowledgment of Farm Risks

  • By participating in activities at SoCalMiniPigs LLC, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with farm visits and animal interaction.

  • Visiting a farm and interacting with animals involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to:

    • Animal bites, kicks, scratches, stepping, or other unpredictable animal behavior
    • Slips, trips, or falls due to uneven terrain, mud, rocks, or natural ground conditions
    • Exposure to dust, hay, feed, insects, or allergens
    • Exposure to bacteria, viruses,  illnesses that may be carried by animals
    • Contact with fencing, gates, farm tools, or equipment
    • Participants acknowledge that animals may behave unpredictably and that farm environments naturally contain hazards.

  • Liability Release

  • In consideration of being permitted to participate in activities at SoCalMiniPigs LLC located in Valley Center, California, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless SoCalMiniPigs LLC, its owners Sandra Pingree and Wes Pingree, property owners, staff, volunteers, agents, affiliates, animals, and representatives from any liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from injury, illness, loss, damage, or death that may occur during participation in farm activities.
  • This release includes but is not limited to injuries resulting from:
    • Animal interaction
    • Farm terrain and conditions
    • Organized farm tours or educational activities
    • Travel to or from the farm

  • Minor Participation

  • If the participant is under the age of 18, this agreement must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. The undersigned parent or guardian agrees to this waiver on behalf of the minor and assumes responsibility for the minor's participation in the farm visit. The undersigned certifies that they have legal authority to sign this waiver on behalf of the minor.
  • Children must remain under the supervision and control of their parent, guardian, teacher, or designated chaperone at all times while visiting the farm. SoCalMiniPigs LLC staff are present to guide the experience but are not responsible for supervising individual children during field trips or farm visits.

  • Safety Rules & Conduct

  • Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by SoCalMiniPigs staff including:
    • Proper interaction with animals
    • Respecting fences and barriers
    • Not chasing, grabbing, or frightening animals
    • Remaining with the designated group during the visit
  • SoCalMiniPigs LLC reserves the right to remove any participant from the property for unsafe or disruptive behavior.
