    Field Trip: Charlotte History Museum

    Ticket price per person: $15 a person. Note: A HistoPad tablet can also be rented for $5. The tour is limited to 25 persons. 

    The HistoPad, is a tablet-based “Augmented Visit” experience, transforms on-site discovery of cultural landmarks by immersing visitors in 360° interactive and meticulously reconstructed historical environments. HistoPads can be shared.

    Carpooling: For anyone interested in carpooling, meet at the Providence United Methodist Church lower parking lot at 10:00 a.m. In the registration form, you can say if you want to carpool and if you could drive carpoolers.

  • Instructions to pay by check is a 2-step process

    Step 1: Write and send a check

    1. Make your check payable to Senior Scholars at Queens for $15 a person. If you want to rent a HistoPad tablet, add $5 per tablet. 

    2. Write a brief note stating the check is for Charlotte History Museum field trip and if you are renting a HistoPad Tablet with today's date and your name and phone number.

    3. Mail the check and note to:

    Step 2: Submit information

    1. Select "Review Answers" to review your entries and "Print" if desired.

    2  Select "Submit" to transfer the contact information to the Field Trip committee. 

    3. You will receive an email of the information you submitted. Keep your email as confirmation of registering for the field trip.

    4. A "Thank You Message" from Senior Scholars is displayed at completion.

    NOTE: Senior Scholars does not maintain card information on its membership files.

    1. Below the instructions, enter the number of tickets to buy and choose the "Next" button.

    2. Select the button "Review Answers" to display the data you entered.

    3. Select the button "Print" if you choose.

    4. Select the button "Submit" to start PayPal.

    5. To enter as a PayPal guest select "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" on the PayPal screen After the screen changes, enter card, billing address and contact information then, when ready, select the "Pay Now" button. If you have a PayPal account, you can enter your PayPal id instead.

    •     PayPal will email a receipt. Keep your receipt as proof of your  purchase.
    •     PayPal completes the process with a Green Check Mark.

    5. Select "Return to Merchant" returns to this form.

    6. A "Thank You Message" from Senior Scholars is displayed at completion.
