  • Does your garden need some volunteer help? Apply to host a group of RSM volunteers and receive a $300 award check.

    RSM and KidsGardening are working together to connect local RSM office teams with youth garden programs across the country. Already more than 20 have garden events planned!

    Examples of event projects include but are not limited to, weeding, planting, building garden beds, moving soil/mulch, general garden maintenance, etc.

    Apply by June 5, 2026, to be considered. 

    Eligibility

    Any tax-exempt organization, such as a school, nonprofit, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Head Start, child care program, library, etc., located in the following cities, is eligible to apply.

    Nashville, TN. Denver, CO. Des Moines, IA. 

    Award Package

    One organization will be selected per city and will receive:

    • A $300 award check
    • Support from 10-20 volunteers for four hours at a one-day event hosted by your organization (June - September)

  • Are you interested in hosting 10-20 volunteers for four hours at a one-day event (June - September)?*
  • Is your organization tax-exempt?*
  • Do you currently have a garden?*
  • Have you hosted a group of volunteers in the past?*
  • Is there access to a restroom at the garden or nearby?*
  • Are you able to have photo releases and liability forms available for all people who will participate in the volunteer event?*
  • Are you able to secure the garden materials you need for your volunteer event by the event date (June or later, will be determined in planning calls, the $300 award check can be used to cover these costs)? Examples include: soil, raised bed timbers, gravel, plants, etc.*
