  • The Big Red Barn Farmers Market is a program of the Maplewood Area Historical Society at the Bruentrup Heritage Farm. The mission of the Big Red Barn Farmers Market is to build a community of local producers and consumers who learn from each other and celebrate the rich history of local agriculture and traditional arts.

We look forward to seeing you at the Big Red Barn Farmers Market: The biggest little farmers market around!

Invoices will be sent upon acceptance to the market.

  • New in 2026!

    • We will be closed on July 5 and September 6 over the Independence Day and Labor Day Holiday Weekends.
    • Each vendor may take up to two Sundays off in addition to the holiday weekends and still count as a full season of enrollment.

Vendor set-up begins at 8 am.  MAHS volunteers will be on site at that time to open buildings and provide you with assistance.

One business / vendor per vendor location.

    Non-food truck vendor pricing:

Occasional Vendor weekly fee is $30 per market. We will not accept vendors who apply for fewer than two markets.

First Time Vendor full season fee is $360 for the full 15 market 2025 season (20%/$90 in savings).

Returning Vendors (Any previous MAHS event or Farmers Market Vendor eligible)  full season fee  is $225 (50% discount/$15 per market).

Youth Vendor (17 years-old and under) $10 per market. (Youth vendors 15 years-old and under must be accompanied by an adult.)

    Food Truck Vendor Pricing:

Electricity (limited and cannot be guaranteed) $10 per market.

6 and 8-foot tables and chairs are available on-site for your use. However, the vendor will be responsible for retrieving and returning any tables and chairs used for the market. We strongly encourage the use of a canopy/tent. Please describe the set-up of your booth, tent, or food truck on the form.

  • PLEASE CHECK ALL THAT APPLY TO YOUR PRODUCTS:
  • I understand that I am legally responsible to abide by all MAHS Museum rules, and applicable local, state, and federal codes, laws, regulations certifications, and licenseures.*
  • I understand that I am legally responsible to track and document my sales and pay all applicable taxes.*
  • I understand that by submitting this application, I am not guaranteed either to be selected as a vendor or to be guaranteed my preferred market dates.*
  • We prioritize having a small, curated market.  The advertising we do is tailored to vendor sign ups, and changes weekly.

Customers often come to market specifically because of a vendor's presence.  Customers who come expecting a certain vendor are unlikely to return if that vendor is absent.  Every vendor is a critical part of the market's success, and you are expected to be present for each week you signed up.

Last minute cancellations for true emergencies can and do happen.  We understand that, and will work with you to communicate this to your customers.  However, repeated absences are detrimental to everyone's success.  Our policies on cancellations and refunds follow.

  • I understand that if I need to cancel with less than a 15-day notice, I will only be entitled to a refund if I find a comparable replacement who will pay the vendor fee. If MAHS needs to cancel a market, all vendors will receive a full refund.*
  • I understand that if I cancel with fewer than 48 hours notice, more than once per season, I will not be entitled to a refund.*
  • I understand that if I am a no-call-no-show for any farmers market, I will no longer be eligible to participate in any future MAHS event as a vendor and will not be entitled to a refund.*
