    2026 National Adult Scholarships
  • Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Incorporated has a commitment to reaffirm and promote the right of access to education for all. We demonstrate this commitment by offering the National Undergraduate Scholarship and National Elevation Scholarship. Each scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $2,500. Women who exhibit leadership skills and community involvement are encouraged to apply. See below the criteria for each scholarship, and choose the one that would be best for you. Please note, applicants may only apply for and will only be considered for one National Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Incorporated scholarship.

    National Undergraduate Scholarship

    The Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Incorporated National Undergraduate Scholarship is available to women who are undergraduate or vocational students or seeking admission to a higher learning institution. 

  • Criterion:

    • Minimum 2.5 GPA.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Participation in community involvement that improves the lives of others and contributes to the well-being of the community.
    • Seeking an undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. college, university, or accredited post-high school institution.
  • Required Documentation:

    National Elevation Scholarship

    The Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Incorporated National Elevation Scholarship is available to ambitious women seeking financial assistance to attain a career-changing opportunity and/or improve their economic status. 

  • Criterion:

    • Minimum 2.5 GPA.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Be at least 25 years of age.
    • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
    • Participation in community involvement that improves the lives of others and contributes to the well-being of the community.
    • Seeking an undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. college, university, or professional certification from an accredited post-high school institution.

    1. 2 Professional Recommendations: Two letters of professional recommendation with handwritten or electronic signatures such as Sign Now, DocuSign, etc.

    2. Transcript: Transcript/credit hours from your most recent high school, college, university, or post high school institution

    3. Acceptance Letter: If you are not a current post-high school student, an acceptance letter from an accredited U.S. college, university, or post-high school institution

    4. Proof of Community Involvement: A minimum of one letter documenting involvement that improves the lives of others and contributes to the well-being of the community; it must be on the organization's letterhead with handwritten or electronic signature such as Sign Now, DocuSign, etc. and contact information (phone or email). This must be a different letter from the professional recommendations.

    5. Essay: 300-450 words explaining your career and/or business goals, including any relevant employment history, extracurricular activities, or milestones you may have already achieved

    Applicants for the National Elevation Scholarship must also attach the following:
