As contract signing deadlines approach for South Carolina educators, The SCEA Advocacy Team and Membership Specialists will be traveling across the state to visit seven regions to support educators during this important time.
These sessions are designed to help educators better understand their employment contracts, review key provisions, and ask questions before signing. Our team will walk through common contract terms, highlight important considerations, and provide guidance so educators can feel confident and informed when making decisions about their employment.
Whether you are a new educator reviewing your first contract or a veteran educator evaluating your options, this is an opportunity to receive trusted guidance and ensure you fully understand what you are agreeing to before signing.
We encourage you to share this opportunity with colleagues at your school or educators in prospective positions who may benefit from additional support during the contract review process.
The SCEA is committed to ensuring that every educator has the knowledge, support, and advocacy needed to make informed professional decisions.
