1) Every member listed above, as well as any other coach/captains/observers, has reviewed the relevant competition rules.
2) Every member listed above, as well as any other coach/captains/observers, acknowledges our team's participation is contingent on upholding good standards of behavior, including the good behavior of the judge who must evaluate every round at the tournaments we attend.
3) No member of the roster will deny International Mock Trial permission to use their likeness with regards to showing screenshots or videos from competitions on our website/social media.
4) The team is committing to having an eligible judge available for every single round of the competition. If your judge does not show for one round, you will lose 10 points on both ballots. If your judge does not show for a second round, you will be removed from the competition before the second round starts.
5) The team has reviewed publicly available resources so they know the style of the competition they are entering.
6) This is open to either TWO HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES/ALUMNI or ONE HIGH SCHOOLER + ONE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE. There should be TWO competitors on every team--one person will be an attorney, and the other will be a witness. They may switch roles depending on their side. EVERY ROUND, they will receive a brand new case. They will have one hour to prepare that case before performing in an abridged format with an opening, one DX, one CX, and a closing. All these things together may NOT exceed 30 minutes.
7) Each pair is permitted a third member, who will not participate/be scored. That third member may serve as a 'second chair' to help with timing and technology and prep.
