We, the families and community members of Willow Elementary, are writing in strong support of our entire school community and its membership to join the Luminary Learning Network (LLN).
The mission of Willow is to provide a rigorous, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every student is seen, valued, and challenged. We focus on meeting individual student needs while cultivating critical thinking, collaboration, and perseverance. By integrating project-based learning into science and social studies, alongside a strong foundation in literacy and math, we prepare students to become problem-solvers, lifelong learners, and active members of their community.
Our continued academic success as an innovation school joining the Luminary Learning Network is imperative to achieving our mission and academic growth for all our diverse learners.
Willow educators have expressed strong support for being part of the LLN, and the LLN stands fully with Willow. This commitment has been building for over a year.
We respectfully ask the Denver Board of Education to vote “YES” to grant Willow Elementary's request to join the Luminary Learning Network.
Supporting Willow means supporting students, families, and educators who believe in innovation and in one another.
