Creative Greensboro’s Neighborhood Arts connects communities with creativity by bringing arts experiences and beautification projects close to home in neighborhoods across Greensboro. This call seeks new neighborhood partners to co-lead the next wave of community-informed 2-D visual art with Creative Greensboro.
We will provide the funding; you provide the local, neighborhood-based decision-making from start to finish. This expansion of Neighborhood Arts continues our creative place-keeping and place-making efforts to create art with residents and to invite neighborhoods to work with local creatives to tell their own stories through public art.

As a partner, your stakeholder group members will be paid an honorarium to do the following:
1. Attend an orientation session with Creative Greensboro and set a regular meetings schedule for the duration of the project.
2. Identify a location or locations within your neighborhood for new public art.
3. Select your artist(s) from a pool of local talent. Creative Greensboro will help the stakeholder group write and promote an open artist call that will require the selected artist to do community engagment.
4. Help your selected artist(s) connect with your neighbors for input, collaboration and feedback for the new art.
5. Plan and host a neighborhood-based public celebration of the new art after its completion.
