• Summer Camp Registration

    At Wee Wonder, our summer camp program is designed to give children a safe, joyful place to be kids—where they can play, explore, create, build friendships, and grow through a balance of child-led discovery and caring teacher-guided experiences. Our intention is to create a fun, inclusive community where every child feels welcomed, supported, and inspired while enjoying meaningful summer memories with confidence and connection.

  • Fees over $250 may be split into 2 payments at the beginning of attendance period and 50% of way through attendance period. 

  • Nonrefundable registration fee of $50.  This fee must be etransferred (fees@weewonder.ca) or paid under your existing account before your space is CONFIRMED and your enrolment is granted. 

    Program Fees:  Fees are flat monthly for kinder and weekly Gr 1-6 and are due regardless of illness, absence, weather, holidays, closures or number of days in a month.  Invoices are sent to email for viewing/ printing, and are due on or before invoice date. 

    Late fees: Fees not paid after 3 business days are subject to late payment fees of 2%, and/or are subject to suspension of program until fees in good standing.  If you need to make payment arrangements please contact us in the office at 403-532-0868 before your fees are due. 

    Grants/Subsidy: Age 3 to Kinder -- Grant discounts are applied to account automatically, Gr 1-6 -- subsidy discounts must have approved subsidy letter to receive the discount on the account (please apply early to ensure no delays).

    Medical leave: If a child has a medical reason they are unable to attend for more than 2 weeks please contact the office. 

    Early end of Program/Cancellation: I/We understand plans change if you need to end your program early please provide 1 full calendar months written notice on or before the first business day of the last month of service to office@weewonder.ca.  

    Cancellation by program:  Wee Wonder holds the right to terminate services with written notice in the occurrence of student inability to participate succesfully independantly and/or causing physical and/or verbal harm to themselves or any other participant or material or any occurrence of parent/family breach of policy or abuse toward Educators or program.

  • Social Media: Families cannot reproduce or post pictures/posts on social media regarding the centre or families in it without express written consent of the parties named or implied in the picture or posting. Wee Wonder will not post pictures or child information on any social media without written consent

    Confidentiality: All information regarding the children, families or employees of Wee Wonder will be kept in the strictest of confidence by all who have access to it and cannot be reproduced or posted to outside parties without consent of all parties. When disclosure is required by regulations or an authorized party, we will need parental written approval to release your child’s file or information. Any information released will be documented on your child’s file

  • I hereby certify that my child(ren) is/are in good physical condition and do/does not suffer from any disability that prevents or limits his/her participation in all activities conducted by Wee Wonder Inc.

    RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I /we hereby consent to Wee Wonder Inc. having care and custody of my child during the times registered and in attendance, and hereby recognize and acknowledge that Wee Wonder Inc. will not be responsible for personal injury or loss to my child or their belongings. I /we understand that if my child is ill or injured during the course of attendance I will be called, and I must have my child picked up as quickly as is possible by myself or an authorized pickup contact on my record or of my choosing. If I cannot be reached/consulted by my cell phone number listed and emergency medical treatment is required, I hereby agree to allow the staff of Wee Wonder Inc. to secure such medical advice and services (i.e., contacting EMS) as may be deemed necessary for the health and safety of myself or my child. I/we agree to accept any financial responsibility for the care my child/or I receive by these services

  • Wee Wonder’s Programming is a mix of teacher and child led planning that may include some or all of the following:

    - In class regular planning including some special activity days held in class.

    - Out of class activities that include:

      i. Walks within the area of Lake Bonavista and streets adjacent to the program, including local play spaces or schools.

     ii. Activities outside of the classroom including in the adjacent outdoor fields, within the LBCA facility (gym, multipurpose rooms, skating arenas (posted in advance to ensure supplies).

     iii. Field Trips - Wee Wonder trips in the City of Calgary and vicinity. Before each field trip, a special notice will be provided to the Parents/Guardians with information naming the area to be visited, including date/time of the field trip. This notice and waiver will require a Parent or Guardian’s signature in order to grant permission for the student to participate.

     I understand I will only receive an additional consent form for iii. field field trips.

  • At Wee Wonder we teach, create, promote and model positive behaviour for our students. However, should any behaviours need to be addressed; the following techniques will be used in a progressive manner:

    1. Recognizing and rewarding positive behaviour.
    2. Recognizing and discussing emotions
    3. Guiding with teaching language actions and/or redirection to a choice of another activity.
    4. If appropriate - Discussion with child of the situation of the problem from multiple perspectives.
    5. Encouraging student to think for themselves about solutions that are safe and respectful.
    6. Temporary removal from the group, inside the classroom, if emotions or physical behaviour is a threat to themselves, any other child, the teacher or the classroom materials. Call to home for pickup if student can not self regulate to rejoin group program.
    7. Teacher and/or the Director and the Parent will meet to discuss strategy for further steps to be taken if the child continues to be intentionally disrespectful or agressive verbally and/or physically in class to other students, teachers, or materials.
    8. Removal from program if behaviour cannot be safely incorporated into the regular group programc day without requiring higher proportion of teacher time over other children in the program.
