  • You must provide precise and accurate financial information on this application form, both in terms of your income and expenditure, in order that in the event of an interview you can respond satisfactorily to verbal enquiries. An inability to do so will inevitably prejudice your application.

    You should retain a copy of your completed application form to bring it with you for reference purposes if you are granted an interview.

    You must submit your income and expenditure calculations, or your application will be incomplete, and it will not be considered by the Grundy Educational Trust.

  • The names, addresses and occupations of two independent persons to whom reference may be made about your attainments, capacity for further study, and your financial position. At least one of these referees should normally be someone with direct knowledge of your academic progress. Suitable referees include former school teachers, undergraduate personal tutors, former/current employers, family friends in professional roles.  Providing references helps present your application more strongly.

  • I certify that the above statements are true, that all my sources of income for the year have been declared, and I undertake to submit documentary evidence if required. I have no objection to the Trustees seeking any further information from such sources as they consider appropriate. After you have submitted your application form, the University will shortlist the applications and send up to five nominated applicants to The Grundy Educational Trust for consideration. The Grundy Educational Trust will contact applicants who are shortlisted for interview.
