Silvertown FIDE Congress
We are happy to be organising the first international chess tournament at the Tate Institute, 1 Wythes Road, London E16 2DN. The Tate Institute is a historic community building in Silvertown, East London. Established in 1887 by Sir Henry Tate for sugar refinery workers, it has served various community roles over time.
SECTIONS - Under 2400, Under 1900 and Under 1600 FIDE plus an ECF Under 1400. Players in the top three sections also have to be Under XXXX in the most recent ECF list.

GUARANTEED PRIZES
In the U2400 and Under 1900 - 1st - £200 / 2nd £100 / 3rd £50
Under 1600 - 1st - £160 / 2nd - £80 / 3rd - £40
Under 1400 ECF (if you have a FIDE standard 1400 or above please enter the Under 1600) - 1st - £160 / 2nd - £80 / 3rd - £40
Prizes will be shared in the results of a tie on points.
Venue
The Tate Institute - head to London City Airport Docklands Light Railway stop. Head to the Drew road exit (down the escalators and then take the steps to the left / or get lift on train level to ground floor). From that exit it's a short 4-min walk to The Tate Institute.
