Youth Entrepreneur Expectations
The Rebel Youth Entrepreneurs Program is designed to be a fun and supportive learning experience. At the same time, participating in the market means taking on real responsibilities. Youth who join the program are expected to show curiosity, effort, and respect for the community.
Participants should come prepared to take ownership of their small business idea. This means creating or preparing products, helping set up their booth, and being ready to talk with customers about what they are selling. Youth vendors should be willing to practice basic skills like greeting customers, handling money, and explaining their products.
Entrepreneurship also requires commitment. Youth entrepreneurs are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled market dates, participate respectfully with other vendors and customers, and represent themselves and Rebel Marketplace in a positive way.
Mistakes are part of learning, and no one is expected to be perfect. What matters most is effort, creativity, and a willingness to learn from the experience.
The goal of the program is not just to sell products, but to help young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and discover the value of their ideas and hard work.
