    Event Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

    Downtown Berkley on Robina Ave and Griffith Ave, just south of 12 Mile Road.

    Payment is due at the time of application.

     

    Vendor Eligibility

    All food vendors must be fully licensed and permitted to prepare, serve, and sell food in the State of Michigan and Oakland County. Vendors must comply with all applicable health department regulations, fire codes, permits, and local ordinances.

    To ensure a diverse and enjoyable experience for attendees, Berkley Pride maintains a balanced variety of food and beverage offerings. We will limit the number of vendors serving similar menu items.

     

    Vendor Expectations

    Food vendors are responsible for the following: 

    • Providing their own food truck, tent, and display equipment
    • Electricity and water are NOT available at this event
    • Being fully operational for the entire event (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM) with no early breakdowns
    • Removing set-up vehicles from the event area by 12:00 PM
    • Cleaning their booth area after the event and vacating the street by 6:00 PM


    Fire Safety Requirements

    All food vendors must have appropriate fire safety equipment on site:

    • A 2A:10-B-C fire extinguisher is required for all vendors
    • Vendors using a deep fat fryer must also have a Class K fire extinguisher

    The Berkley Fire Department will conduct safety inspections at 13:30 PM on the day of the event. Your food truck or booth must be fully set up and ready for inspection at that time.

     

    Health Department Requirements

    The Oakland County Health Department will contact food vendors closer to the event to review:

    • Your planned menu
    • Licensing status
    • Any required documentation

    Licensed Special Transitory Food Units (STFU) will need to complete an Intent to Serve form, which will be distributed prior to the event.

     

    Application & Acceptance

    Submitting an application and payment does not guarantee acceptance into the event. Approved vendors will receive a confirmation email. If your application is not accepted, your payment will be refunded in full. Failure to follow the vendor guidelines may affect participation in future Downtown Berkley events.

  • Your submission of this application form constitutes an agreement that the Berkley Downtown Development Authority or any of its agents will not be held responsible for damage to or loss of work or personal property or personal injury. It also means that you have read and agree to all terms and conditions for participation. The Downtown Development Authority also reserves the right to limit or remove any objectionable work or signage displayed. Your application does not guarantee entry into the event.
