    Community Funding Application – Rules & Eligibility Criteria 1. Purpose of Funding The purpose of this funding program is to support initiatives that improve, promote, or provide services for men’s health and wellbeing in Mount Isa, Cloncurry and Camooweal. All applications must clearly demonstrate how the proposed project, activity, or support will directly benefit men’s mental health within this region. 2. Eligibility Funding is open to: Not‑for‑profit organisations, community groups, associations, and charities based in, or servicing, Mount Isa, Cloncurry and Camooweal. Individuals residing within Mount Isa, Cloncurry and Camooweal. Queensland who can demonstrate the capacity to deliver a project or initiative that benefits men’s health and wellbeing. Applicants must: Be 18 years of age or older. Conduct the proposed activities within Mount Isa, Cloncurry and Camooweal. Use all funds exclusively for the purpose outlined in the application. 3. Eligible Activities Activities may include, but are not limited to: Men’s health and wellbeing programs, workshops, or training. Community events or initiatives that promote social connection and wellbeing. Resources, materials, or equipment that directly support men’s health and wellbeing outcomes. Programs targeting suicide prevention, resilience building, peer support, or wellbeing education. 4. Ineligible Activities The following are not eligible for funding: Activities not aligned with men’s health and wellbeing outcomes. Projects conducted outside Mount Isa, Cloncurry and Camooweal. Retrospective funding for activities already completed. General operational costs not directly related to the project (e.g., ongoing rent, regular wages, utilities). Projects that promote political or religious agendas. 5. Application Requirements Applicants must provide: A clear project description, including objectives and expected health and wellbeing outcomes. A detailed budget outlining how funds will be used. Evidence of ability to deliver the project (e.g., experience, community support, partnerships). A project timeline. For organisations: proof of not‑for‑profit status. For individuals: proof of residency within Mount Isa, Cloncurry and Camooweal. 6. Assessment Criteria Applications will be assessed on: Alignment with the program’s purpose of supporting men’s health and wellbeing as well as the potential impact and community benefit. -- Feasibility and sustainability of the proposed activity. Value for money and responsible use of funds. Applicant’s capacity to deliver the project. 7. Funding Conditions Funds must be used solely for the approved project. Projects must be completed within the agreed timeframe unless written approval for extension is provided. Any unspent funds must be returned to the funding provider. Successful applicants may be required to provide a short report and evidence of men’s health and wellbeing outcomes upon completion. Successful applicants must be available for a photo and provide permission for their image, project details, or related content to be posted on social media and online platforms at the discretion of Mount Isa International Men’s Day Committee.
