Where and when did your walk towards Jesus begin?
Encounter Church is a community of people journeying together towards Jesus. We are open to anyone seeking purpose and meaning in life, creating space for both individuals and families to belong and grow.

Each year, we invite people into intentional partnership with us by committing to our discipleship framework, expressed through a simple triangle.
This framework shapes how we follow Jesus together, helping us grow in faith, community, and mission. The triangle has an inward and outward expression. Each connection point asks the questions:
- How am I personally growing in this area?
- How am I expressing this to the world?
Connected to God

Connection with God sits at the apex of our discipleship triangle. Our identity is anchored in Him, and our lives are devoted to pursuing intimacy with Him - both personally and within the community of believers.
How are you intentionally growing in your relationship with God (internal)?

Connected to Community

Christian community is an essential source of encouragement, accountability, and growth in our journey toward Jesus. As the body of Christ, we function together as one — serving alongside one another for His kingdom and encouraging each other to share the good news with the world.
Which Encounter Connect Group are you committed to (internal)?
We believe that regular spiritual interaction and study of God’s Word outside of Sunday gatherings are an integral part of a healthy discipleship culture.
Who is your training partner (internal)?
Discipleship is intensified as we become more intimate and authentic with those we are closest to. Confession, prayer, and breakthrough come as we allow others into our daily walk to refine, shape and challenge.
What community groups or activities are you involved with outside of church (external)?
One of the many functions of the church is to engage with the world around us. As disciples of Jesus, we actively participate in our cricket clubs, sewing groups, neighbourhoods, workplaces, and friendships - living as beacons of peace, hope, and the love of Christ within our communities.
Connected to Lifestyle

Jesus modelled a life of serving others. We believe authentic discipleship imitates Christ’s example as we love and serve one another within the body of Christ and beyond, carrying this servant-hearted posture into our everyday “Places of Access”. We describe serving within the body of Christ as ministry, and serving the world around us as mission.
