Who should complete this form
This form is for businesses and other organisations that need to request visitor parking permits, for access to the resident parking permit zone, around Heaton Park during the Parklife weekend on 20th –21st June 2026.
Permits must be requested by one person on behalf of the group, business or organisation, who will then distribute them to staff, worshippers or other individuals who require them.
This form is not for residents who live in the permit zone - you will automatically recieve your permits in a mailing w/c 1st June.
Organisations that may require permits
-
Local businesses needing access or parking for staff and customers.
-
Faith and community groups requiring access or parking for attendees.
-
Health and social care agencies needing access or parking for staff making home visits.
Types of permit
There may be periods where it is not safe for vehicles to access certain road closures. At these times drivers may be asked to park and walk to their destination or will need to wait until it is safe to access by car.
Road closures and the permit zone are in place for public safety and to reduce the impact of events on local residents. Organisations need to demonstrate a clear need for access through closures after 20:00 to qualify for Full Access permits. This approach limits the number of vehicles that can access the residential areas after the concert preventing misuse of the system.
Residents
Please note: This form is not for residents requesting parking permits. Each household within the resident permit zone will receive two resident permits in the mailing sent w/c 1 June, and no additional permits will be issued through this form.
If a household has more than two vehicles or visitors, a proof of address (such as any letter showing the street name and postcode) can be displayed in the vehicle window. You may redact any personal information you do not wish to share (e.g. name or house number). Enforcement teams only need to see the street name and postcode.
