IENE 2026 photo competition form
  • IENE 2026 Photo & Video Award Competition

  • IENE and the organisers of the IENE 2026 Conference invite all registered participants to take part in the official Photo and Video Award Competition.

The competition is open to every registered conference attendee, regardless of age, profession, or nationality.

This contest aims to celebrate the essential role of nature within our landscapes. We encourage submissions that:

capture interactions between transport infrastructure and ecological processes
illustrate the beauty, connectivity, and fragility of natural landscapes
showcase innovative solutions that harmonise transportation and nature
or simply share a perfectly timed wildlife moment — even an animal photo‑bomb!
In addition to recognising outstanding visual contributions, selected submissions will help build an image bank available to IENE members for use in publications. One exceptional photograph will also be chosen for the cover of the IENE Special Issue.

We look forward to seeing your creativity, perspectives, and moments from the field!
