What is commonly being done now with biologics for patients with spinal disorders? This one day course is designed for physicians who have advanced skills injection techniques for the spine and want to focus on orthobiologics for the spine.

HERE IS WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
• Fluoroscopic guided transforaminal epidurals (supra-neural and infra-neural approaches)
• Fluoroscopic guided intradiscal
• Fluoroscopic guided inter-transverse ligaments
• Ultrasound guided thoracodorsal fascia
• Fluoroscopic guided ligament flavum
• Fluoroscopic guided inter-laminar epidural
Required prerequisite criteria to register for IOF Advanced Spine:
MD or DO with a musculoskeletal specialty:
• Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Family Practice with the completion of a Sports Fellowship
• Interventional Spine (Anesthesiology or PMR)
• Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery
• Interventional Radiology accepted only with significant hands on examination experience.
AND
Previous completion of Intermediate Spine or:
• Interventional spine experience in fluoro and/or ultrasound guided epidurals, facet injections
• Attestation of accessing the transforaminal epidural space
• Must have performed 50 cases each in the lumbar spine
• You may be asked to demonstrate your experience to your instructor. If your instructors feel you do not meet the pre-requisite, you will be withdrawn from the course (registration fee will be non-refundable).
Two weeks before the course you will receive procedure-specific instructional videos that you can access for 30 days after the course. IOF members can access the videos for the life of their membership, allowing you to review the videos prior to treating a patient.
