  • Students enrolling in programs at CMA Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology are responsible for all tuition, registration fees, and required educational materials associated with their program of study. Unless otherwise approved through scholarships, grants, or institutional payment arrangements, all tuition and fees must be paid in full prior to the completion of the required program clock hours.
  • Program costs include tuition, instructional materials, training kits, textbooks, and required technology needed for successful participation in the program.

  • The Esthetician program tuition includes the required student iPad, which is used for accessing course materials, digital learning resources, and academic assignments.
  • Financial Assistance and Payment Plans

  • Students may indicate whether they will require financial assistance during the enrollment process. Those seeking financial support may apply for scholarships, grants, or approved institutional payment arrangements.
  • Students requesting financial assistance may submit a separate financial aid or scholarship application so the Academy can review eligibility and determine available funding options.
  • Students who do not require financial assistance may be placed on a monthly tuition payment plan, if approved by the admissions office.
  • Monthly payments are generally due on the 15th of each month until the balance is paid in full.
  • If financial assistance cannot be arranged, applicants may withdraw their application and request a refund of eligible payments in accordance with the institution's refund policy.
  • Institutional Scholarships

  • CMA Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology is committed to supporting students pursuing careers in the beauty and wellness industry. The Academy may offer a limited number of institutional scholarships or grants to qualified applicants.

  • Scholarships are typically awarded based on merit, academic potential, or demonstrated commitment to the field. Some grants may be awarded based on financial need.

    Students receiving scholarships or institutional grants must:

    • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
    • Meet attendance requirements
    • Remain in good standing with the Academy
    • Complete the program as scheduled

    Failure to meet these requirements may result in the loss of scholarship eligibility.

  • Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • The refund policy applies to all terminations of enrollment, regardless of the reason for cancellation or withdrawal, including student withdrawal, program cancellation, or institutional closure.

    Refund calculations are based on the student's last date of attendance and are processed in accordance with institutional policies and applicable state regulations

    If a student is eligible for a refund, any funds due will be issued within 14 days of the official cancellation or withdrawal date.

  • Official Withdrawal

  • A student may officially withdraw from the program by submitting written notice to the Academy administration. The withdrawal date will be determined based on the date the written notice is received by the institution.

    Students who take an approved Leave of Absence and notify the Academy that they will not return will have their withdrawal date determined based on the scheduled return date or the date of notification.

  • Unofficial Withdrawal

  • If a student stops attending classes without notifying the institution, the Academy will determine the withdrawal date based on the student's last recorded attendance.

    Attendance records are reviewed regularly to determine participation status.

  • Non-Refundable Items

  • The following items are generally considered non-refundable once issued or used:
    • Training kits and equipment
    • Textbooks and educational materials
    • Registration fees
    • Administrative fees
  • Program Cancellation

  • If a program is canceled by the institution after a student has enrolled but before instruction begins, the Academy may choose to:

    • Provide the student the opportunity to enroll in a future start date, or
    • Issue a refund of tuition payments made (excluding non-refundable fees).
  • School Closure

  • If the institution permanently closes after instruction has begun, the Academy will make reasonable arrangements for students to complete their training or provide appropriate refunds in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
  • A list of enrolled students and applicable refund amounts will be submitted to the appropriate state regulatory agency.
  • Termination Fee

  • Students who withdraw from a program prior to completion may be assessed a $150 administrative termination fee in addition to any remaining tuition balance owed.

  • Student Terms and Conditions Agreement

  • By enrolling in a program at CMA Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology, each student agrees to comply with the policies, procedures, and expectations established by the institution. Students are required to review and initial each section below to acknowledge their understanding and agreement.
  • Student Responsibilities and Conduct

  • I understand and agree to the following conditions:
  • 1. Personal cell phones are not permitted for use in the classroom or clinic areas during instructional time. Phones must be stored in lockers and may only be checked during scheduled breaks unless prior approval is granted for emergency circumstances.
  • 2. Possession or use of a phone during instructional time without permission may result in disciplinary action.
  • 3. Sleeping during classroom instruction or clinical training is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
  • 4. Repeated violations of classroom conduct policies may result in additional disciplinary measures.
  • 5. Students are expected to maintain regular attendance and participate in scheduled training activities.
  • 6. Failure to maintain attendance expectations may result in probation or possible dismissal from the program.
  • 7. Students must maintain a minimum cumulative academic average of 75% to remain in good academic standing.
  • 8. Students receiving repeated disciplinary warnings may be placed on probation or subject to dismissal according to institutional policy.
  • Tuition and Financial Obligations

  • 9. Tuition payments must be made according to the payment schedule outlined in the student enrollment agreement unless otherwise approved in writing by the Academy administration.
  • 10. Failure to remain current on tuition payments may result in temporary suspension from attending classes until the balance is addressed.
  • 11. The enrollment agreement becomes a binding contract once accepted by the Academy and signed by both parties.
  • 12. Students are responsible for making up any missed instructional hours in accordance with the Academy's policies.

  • 13. Makeup hours required due to absences may result in additional instructional fees.
  • 14. All required clock hours must be completed before a student is eligible for graduation.
  • 15. Students must remain current with all financial obligations in order to receive official transcripts, certification of completion, or graduation documentation.
  • Attendance and Leave of Absence

  • 16. Certain instructional days may be designated as mandatory attendance days. Students who miss these days without prior approval may be subject to additional fees or required makeup hours.
  • 17. Students who withdraw without proper notification may be administratively withdrawn based on participation monitoring.
  • 18. Students who take an approved Leave of Absence and fail to return on the scheduled date may be considered withdrawn from the program.
  • Health and Safety

  • 19. In the event of sudden illness or emergency, the student authorizes the Academy to seek appropriate medical assistance if necessary. Any medical expenses incurred are the responsibility of the student.
  • Institutional Policies

  • 20. The Academy reserves the right to revise schedules, curriculum, or instructional methods when necessary to maintain program quality or regulatory compliance.
  • 21. Students must maintain all required tools, equipment, and training materials necessary for participation in the program.
  • 22. Lost, damaged, or missing equipment issued to a student may be replaced at the student's expense.
  • 23. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas.
  • 24. Students may be terminated from the program for reasons including but not limited to unsatisfactory academic progress, excessive absences, violation of school policies, nonpayment of tuition, or misconduct.
  • 25. Students receiving institutional scholarships or grants must maintain the required attendance standards to remain eligible.
  • Employment Disclaimer

  • 26. The Academy does not guarantee employment or salary upon completion of any program. However, career guidance and job placement assistance may be available to graduates.
  • Graduation Requirements

  • 27. In order to graduate and receive a diploma, students must:
    • Complete all required clock hours
    • Successfully pass all theory and practical evaluations

    • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
    • Pass the program's final examination with a minimum grade of 75%
    • Fulfill all financial obligations to the Academy.
  • Legal and Administrative Provisions

  • 28. The Academy may withhold transcripts or certification until all financial obligations are satisfied.
  • 29. Students are responsible for damages to equipment or property caused during training.
  • 30. The Academy is not responsible for negligence or lack of skill while students are practicing techniques on one another as part of their training.
  • 31. Any legal matters relating to this agreement will be handled in the State of Arkansas.
  • 32. In the event of legal action involving this agreement, the prevailing party may recover legal costs as permitted by law.
  • 33. Students are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with all policies outlined in the Academy catalog, handbook, and enrollment agreement.

  • School Rules and Regulations

  • Students are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times. Violations may result in disciplinary action, suspension, or dismissal.
  • Examples of prohibited conduct include but are not limited to:
    • Use of alcohol or illegal substances on school property
    • Theft or dishonest conduct
    • Disruptive behavior in the classroom or clinic area
    • Harassment, threats, or physical altercations
    • Falsification of records or documentation
    • Failure to comply with institutional policies
  • Code of Conduct

  • Students are expected to represent CMA Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology with professionalism and respect. Conduct that interferes with the learning environment or the operations of the Academy may result in disciplinary action.
  • Examples include:
    • Excessive noise disrupting classes
    • Unauthorized use of workstations
    • Interference with instructors, staff, or fellow students
    • Failure to follow safety or sanitation procedures
  • Harassment and Safety Policies

  • The Academy maintains a learning environment free from harassment, discrimination, and violence. Any student who feels they have experienced harassment should report the incident to the instructor or administration immediately.
  • Harassment, intimidation, or threatening behavior toward students, faculty, or staff may result in immediate disciplinary action or dismissal.
  • Weapons and Controlled Substances

  • Weapons of any kind, including firearms or hazardous materials, are strictly prohibited on Academy property. The unlawful possession, use, or distribution of drugs or alcohol is also prohibited.
  • Visitor Policy

  • For safety and security purposes, visitors must check in with the front office before entering the facility. Visitors are not permitted in classrooms or clinic areas without prior authorization.

  • Dress Code

  • Students must maintain a professional appearance while attending classes.

  • Dress requirements include:

    • All black business casual attire or black scrubs
    • Closed-toe black shoes
    • Clothing must be professional and appropriate for clinical training
    • No hats, athletic wear, or clothing with inappropriate graphics
