“Pravaham” at Namma Periyava Kovil, with the sankalpam of reviving the tradition of rendering Saint Tyagaraja’s Pancharatnam compositions, warmly invites Carnatic musicians (Singers, Instrumentalists, Percussionists) to participate in a GRAND GROUP RENDITION. This year, we will present the Kovur Pancharatnam and celebrate this timeless musical legacy together.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. PARTICIPANTS OF ALL AGES WITH PROPER TRAINING AND CARNATIC MUSIC EXPERIENCE WELCOME.
2. Participants are required to learn all five compositions:
Ee Vasudha – Sahana
Kori Sevimpa – Karaharapriya
Sambo Mahadeva – Pantuvarali
Nammi Vachchina – Kalyani
Sundareswaruni – Sankarabharanam
3. Professionally recorded Kovur Pancharatnam will be shared with participants.
Notations will be provided.
4. Orientation meeting: First week of April (online).
5. Online practice sessions: Mandatory, scheduled at suitable times in April.
6. In-person rehearsal: Mandatory for local participants; out-of-state participants are exempt.
7. Registration closes: April 3, 2026. Registered participants will receive recordings and notations within 2–3 days of registration.
