Tri-State Black Pride 2026 Award Nominations
Tri-State Black Pride Presents 2026 Allstar Weekend. This platform is used to submit your nominations for 2026 Tri-State Black PRIDE Award Ceremony where we honor those showing extraordinary efforts of the amazing working being done to support our community at large! This will take place on June 21, 2026. We will have nominations open from March 20, 2026 to March 27, 2026. Following, we will open a final survey to allow the community to complete final selections based off of award nominations received.
Legend's Award
The Legend’s Award is a distinguished honor presented in remembrance of individuals from Memphis, TN, who passed in 2025. This award celebrates their lasting impact, recognizing their contributions to the Black LGBTQ+ community and beyond.More than a tribute, the Legend’s Award serves as a testament to their legacy—honoring their courage, leadership, advocacy, and unwavering dedication to uplifting others. Through this recognition, their spirit continues to inspire, ensuring that their influence and memory remain a vital part of our journey forward.
The Community Service Award
The Community Service Award honors individuals, nonprofits, community service organizations, and civic groups that have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion for all. This prestigious award recognizes those who work tirelessly to uplift and empower marginalized communities through advocacy, outreach, and service. The Performance Award
The Performance Award recognizes and celebrates the incredible talent and artistry of entertainers within the Tri-State Black Pride community. This prestigious honor is awarded to individuals who captivate audiences and enrich culture through their creative expression, whether as musicians, singers, filmmakers, dancers, MCs, DJs, influencers, theatrical performers, entertainers, or party promoters. From rising amateurs to well-known stars, this award highlights those who bring joy, inspiration, and representation to the stage, screen, and beyond. Their contributions not only entertain but also uplift and empower the community, making them a vital part of the Tri-State Black Pride experience.
Hero Award
The Hero Award is a prestigious honor presented to individuals who have demonstrated unwavering allyship to the LGBTQIA+ community and/or championed human rights causes in Memphis, TN. This award recognizes those who use their platform, voice, and actions to advocate for equality, justice, and inclusion. Whether through activism, leadership, or unwavering support, Hero Award recipients embody the true spirit of solidarity, making a lasting impact in the fight for human rights and the advancement of a more just and equitable society.
Crowne Jewel Award
The Crown Jewel Award is a prestigious honor named in memory of Jewel Clemons, a trailblazer for transgender rights in the 1970s and 1980s. Jewel’s legacy of resilience, courage, and advocacy continues to inspire generations in the fight for equality and justice. This award is presented to individuals whose work has been dedicated to HIV advocacy and activism, recognizing their tireless efforts in education, prevention, support, and policy change. Recipients of the Crown Jewel Award embody the spirit of compassion and commitment, ensuring that those affected by HIV receive the resources, care, and dignity they deserve.
