    Please fill in one form per person. Please note the Makerspace is located in the Pakenham Branch (128 MacFarlane St)

  • These workshops are free and no experience is needed to attend the Makerspace Workshops. Youth workshops are open to children 10 - 18 years old.

    Workshop will start with a lesson on how to use the sewing machine and finish with sewing a felt animal that can hang off your school bag.

    Snacks will be provided.

    Staff will assist you during the workshop.

    Please only sign up for a workshop if you are able to attend the full class.

    • Clean up your workspace and put tools and supplies back where they belong. 
      Use all the equipment carefully. You are responsible for any damage caused by misuse. 
    • No food or open drinks are allowed in the Makerspace. 
    • Staff can stop any project that is unsafe, against the rules, or against the law. 
    • Using the internet responsibly - Children are responsible for making sure the images or designs they use are allowed. Staff will explain what can and cannot be viewed and downloaded at the start of the workshop.
    • Everyone must follow the Mississippi Mills Public Library Code of Conduct. They must treat other children and staff with respect. 
    • If rules are not followed, you may be asked to leave and may lose Makerspace access.
