District Citation 2026-2027

For Clubs to be considered for the District Citation 2025-2026, the following expectations will have been met:

R.I. and District Dues paid in full
100% of members registered with MyRotary
Club executive has been entered into Rotary Club Central with specific goals for Membership, Foundation and Public Image

For Clubs to receive the District Citation for 2025-2026, at least three (3) goals will have been achieved in each of the four categories (12 goals total).

Please ensure that your completed forms are submitted on or before Friday, June 12, 2026.

Increase our IMPACT (select minimum of 3)*

Host or co-host a Rotary Youth exchange student; sponsor a student to participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) or another youth initiative in your community.
Lead/participate in an environmental project in your community.
Celebrate a Club or community member with a Paul Harris Fellowship.
Host or co-host an event/ceremony in recognition of World Polio Day – October 24, 2025.
Have a minimum of one member of your Club attend the District Foundation dinner – April 25, 2026 (North Bay) • Have a minimum 80% of members.
Have a minimum 80% of members participate in “Every Rotarian, Every Year” campaign ($25 US/year).
Help District 7010 win the Zone challenge for new PolioPlus Society members - Increase PolioPlus Society membership by at least two members/Club.

Expand our REACH (select minimum of 3)*

Grow your Rotary Club by a net of 3 members by June 15, 2026.
Have at least one Club member participate in a Rotary International opportunity; i.e., the 2026 District Fellowship exchange to Scotland/Ireland (April 2026); the 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei, Taiwan (June 2026), or an international service project.
Nominate at least one Club member for an RI Avenues of Service award.
Invite a District representative to attend/present at one of your Club meetings/events; i.e., District Governor, Membership, Foundation or Public Image Chair, etc.
Participate in a service/fellowship event with a neighbouring Rotaract Club or other service club.

Enhance Participant ENGAGEMENT (select minimum of 3)*

Have a minimum of 10% of Club members participate in one of six Rotary Regional Retreats (Little Current, Wasaga Beach, Kirkland Lake, Camp Kawartha, Bracebridge, Rouyn-Noranda).
50% of members participate in one learning event throughout the year – PELS, Rotary weekend, Rotary Learning Institute, Zone institute, a course in The Learning Centre, etc.
Have at least 10% members participate in one of eight (8) DG Sandi’s Mini-monthly Info sessions for the Resourceful Rotarian.
Host one Club fellowship event that has not been tried before in your Club’s history.
Participate in a service/fellowship event with a neighbouring Rotary club.

Increase our ability to ADAPT (select minimum of 3)*

Designate a social media representative to update website and social media accounts on a regular basis.
Review Club by-laws to ensure they are still meeting the needs of your Club.
Tell your stories of service and contribution by sharing with the District-Club Liaison.
Host a Club meeting at a different time/venue at least once during the year.
Offer a ZOOM option for Club and community members to attend your meetings.
