Recognizes a team, crew, or shift of prehospital providers who collectively and consistently deliver outstanding emergency medical patient care.

- Group of 2 or more EMS Providers from the same department who work together as a team, crew, or shift.
- Advocate for patients and their families while providing superior patient care.
- Exemplify outstanding leadership, professionalism, and service to their community through involvement with EMS.
- Committed to fostering camaraderie and selflessness in the brotherhood of fire and EMS providers.
EMS Medical Director of the Year Award
Recognizes an EMS Medical Director who demonstrates clinical excellence in the performance of EMS medical direction, and serves as a role model for all EMS agency personnel.
Award Criteria:
- Consistently demonstrates a commitment to clinical excellence in EMS.
- Advocates for the advancement of emergency medical care and evidence-based EMS protocols.

Prehospital Run of the Year Award

Recognizes an outstanding EMS run that exemplifies the highest level of prehospital care.

- A 911 response call that involves a life-threatening condition that is averted or lessened by the timely, intelligent, or brave actions of EMS crews.
- A superior level of technical skills, communication, and critical thinking is demonstrated by the attending EMS crew.
