Thank you for your interest in hosting a CPR/AED/First Aid certification course for your group!
We offer the American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid blended certification course. This blended course includes an online portion and an in-person skills session. The online course must be completed prior to the in-person session.
Our instructors are Girl Scout volunteers who are trained and certified through the American Red Cross. Schedulng is based on their availability and travel considerations.
Please review the requirements below:
- MIN/MAX: Minimum number of students is 6 and the maximum is 12. The minimum must be met in order to hold the course.
- STUDENTS: Course is open to adult volunteers and older girls in 7-12th grade. All students must be current registered Girl Scout members.
- DATE: Scheduling is based on your group and the instructor’s availability. We will do our best to accommodate your requested date.
- COURSE LENGTH: The in person skils session requires 5 hours. Students must complete the online portion prior to the in person skills session.
- COURSE FEE: The fee is $50.00 and includes all training supplies, a First Aid Pocket Guide, a CPR trained bracelet and Red Cross certification.
- CERTIFICATION: Upon successful skills testing completion, students will receive Red Cross Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid certification valid for 2 years. The certification is delivered via email.
- LOCATION: We may need your assistance in finding a suitable location in your area to hold the course. The location must have tables and chairs, space for students to practice with manikins. Preferably it would also have Wi-Fi and technology available to show videos (projector, TV, etc.).
- REGISTRATION: Registration and payment for the course is run through the council. Once we set up a date, time, and location an online registration and payment form will be provided for your group.
